Update

I'm living in Tallahassee. I just moved into an apartment where I'll be living alone. I don't have the money right now to do much experimentation with my casting/sheet project, so that's on hold for the mean time. I'm working at Pyramid Studios as an art instructor.
I am currently renting a studio space (goodbye garage) and I'm working on a series of barn/farm paintings that will not be sold, but be given to my family. The purpose of these paintings is to get my hand back to where it was before I stopped painting. I've sold my old camera and I'm getting used to a Canon 7D (fantastic so far). I'm working on some more found object pieces, one of which will be complete for the show for instructors of Pyramid. Ever since I lost 10,000+ photographs from a hard drive crash, I've been timid to take pictures, this will no longer be the case.
I'm unsure about, but excited with the possibilities the future has to offer.

Miami move

I'm currently living in Miami and working on a sort of film project with my uncle. I moved down about two week ago now. No garage updates for awhile, though I suppose I will post some things that are inspiring me.

I'm not sure who the artist is, unfortunately.

Experiment #2 (Update)

I tried using an old Windex bottle to spray watered down glue, which sort of worked, but I wasn't able to coat the whole sheet yet and the bottle is ruined. Dipping and wringing the sheets soaks up too much to be cost effective so I'm hoping to find a spray bottle that I can use with better results.
The sheet is fairly hard, though I'll probably need to coat it twice to get it to a desirable stiffness.

Experiment #2: Emmie's Rocker

I have not used the hardener yet.

I hope the sheet will stand on the first try. If it isn't strong enough, I'll have to move to resin or some other type of glue.

Laboratory

I started experimenting for my new installation project:
the sheets stands on it's now. Pseudo success!
I'm trying to figure out a way to have the sheets hug the objects a little better and use some plastic that isn't as disposable as seran wrap.

I just got a bunch of sheets today, not I need to collect new/more objects.
